Today I got my PC back, with Windows 8 which in my honest opinion is the worst thing that's happened to mankind since the bubonic plague wiped out the population in Europe.

I have no option but to get used to it, so whatever. It's not so bad I suppose. What bugs me is that I lost all of my music files, all of them. I had well over 10,000 songs saved in here and they are all gone. Of course I had saved some albums in flash drives, but it's hardly 300 songs... I had a lot of rare CDs that I downloaded that are practically impossible to find now and yes I should have saved THOSE, but I didn't, so I will whine endlessly as if that helped anything. So far it's working.

Another thing that bugs me is that, while the guy did recover a lot of my images, he lost ABSOLUTELY ALL OF MY BASES. All of them. All the bases I'd been saving for over six years are gone... (And yes, I stupidly didn't think of doing backups of those backups because I focused too much on all my written stuff, which thankfully is good and safe. Unlike all the pictures I took during my favourite classes at the university which is making me sad because when will I ever learn such things about Renaissance art again! With such reliable sources! Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy)

So uhm, I don't know what I'll do with this. I'd like to ask for help finding old base sites and old bases, but I don't even know where to start. On top of that I obviously lost all of my bookmarks, so IDK, maybe if you guys could share URL's of dolling sites that have bases I could start there? Pretty please? I'll give you a cookie. <3
